Vision:

Studies in Sociology are geared towards the development of reflective sociological thinking for the scientific analysis of social problems. Our vision is to support students in their path to becoming informed, well-rounded and effective members of our society by providing a curriculum that is both rigorous and relevant to a variety of social settings and issues.

Mission:

The mission of sociology program is to provide students with abroad and actionable education, applicable to variety of career paths, that includes research, writing and critical thinking skills. We seek to instruct students to conduct their own research advocating for social justice and addressing our society’s more pressing problems.
